Fear Factor
Today, Gabriel fell asleep in his carseat with a handful of live earthworms. Yecchhh! They died there in his palm after dehydrating for 20 minutes. I had to use a baby wipe to clean them off his hand -- they were kind of stuck to him. I am so grossed out.

SAVE THE EARTHWORMS
Why would you let those good beneficial segmented eartheworms shrivel and die?
Suggestion for next time to reduce the risk of them dying.
1. Pack them in loose moist (not saturated) dirt so they wont' dry out.
2. Let them burrow down on their own.
so after you take them on a little field trip, you can place them back in the ground where they belong.
